The battery here is completely encapsulated and filled with gel and can therefore withstand being tilted without the risk of battery acid leaking out or the battery's performance deteriorating in case of loss of battery acid. The batteries are completely maintenance-free because the battery acid has a jelly-like consistency. Therefore, you never need to top up the fluid and never check the fluid level. The gel battery self-discharges very slowly, only about 2% per month at 25 degrees Celsius and they are also resistant to freezing.

The gel batteries do not form any smelly gases and do not oxidize when charging, and you can therefore place them anywhere, wherever you want. The gel batteries fully recover from real deep discharges. The battery withstands vibrations and shocks thanks to the fact that the electrolyte is gel-bound and thanks to stabilizers in the plates.
